Internship
During internship, you will closely work with (and help) one of our graduate students on a pre-defined project (we currently do not have internship for new projects or intern-led projects). These projects are aiming for publication in the near future, and you will be invited to be a co-author if your contribution is deemed to be significant.
Recruiting
We highly prefer applicants (1) who are interested in joining our lab as a future graduate student and (2) who can commit for at least 6 months.
We run two recruiting periods within a year: summer and winter. Note that Winter Internship is our main internship program (which align well with Fall and Spring graduate school admission deadlines) and we hire more interns in winter than summer.
The recruiting process includes paper screening and an interview.
For summer and winter internships, the recruiting process is run in tandem with KAIRI (KAIST AI Research Internship).
Please check out the KAIST AI homepage for the KAIRI opening information

Important Dates
Note that all deadlines are 11:00pm KST. While you can still submit your application after the deadlines, please meet the deadlines to ensure full consideration. This means the positions might be filled out before we look into your applications.
If you have a competing offer and need to make a decision earlier, please email the HR admin (see below), and we can try to expedite the process.
Summer Internship
Winter Internship
Winter Internship is highly recommended if you are applying for Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 admission.
We're currently planning to recruit 2-3 interns for the upcoming 2024 Winter Application.
