How much is the tuition?
→ For most students, you will be paying approximately KRW 700,000 per semester (twice per year). Please ask the department staff for the exact amount.
How much is the monthly RAship stipend?
→ Your base stipend (per month) is KRW 520,000 for interns, KRW 1,320,000 for MS students, KRW 1,800,000 for PhD students, and KRW 2,100,000 for PhD candidates. You will get additional stipend by doing extra work (e.g. administrating lab computers and cloud accounts, managing a project, etc.).
Is there TAship? Do I also get stipend from it?
→ Yes, and TAship provides additional stipend on top of the RAship stipend above. The stipend is around KRW 400,000 per month and is paid by the school (not the lab). Note that, however, only certain students can do (and must do) TAship and you will know this only after being accepted. I know it is a very random and weird policy but it is out of my control 😟
